Booking & Tour Data (Additional to standard policy)
When you book a tour or activity (such as a Desert Safari, Hiking trip, or Cultural Tour) with us, we collect necessary information to fulfill your reservation. This includes your name, contact details, emergency contacts, and occasionally ID/Passport details required by local tourism and safety regulations in Saudi Arabia. We do not store your credit card information on our servers; all payments are processed securely through certified payment gateways.
Comments & Reviews
When adventurers leave reviews or comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your review, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload photos from your trips to our review sections or galleries, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment or review on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in to manage your bookings, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Articles and tour descriptions on this site may include embedded content (e.g. Google Maps for meeting points, YouTube videos of our tours, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with
Your safety and experience are our priority. We share necessary booking details (like your name and phone number) with our certified local guides and operational partners to ensure a seamless and safe trip. We do not sell your personal data to third-party marketers.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment or review, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically.
For users that register on our website to book tours, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Note: Booking records are kept for administrative, legal, and tax purposes as required by Saudi law.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left reviews, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us (such as your booking history). You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, security, or tax purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments and reviews may be checked through an automated spam detection service. All booking data is securely processed and stored in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
